Adventure With Intention
Adventure, to me, isn’t about how far you go, it’s about how deeply you feel. It’s about the effort you put in and the awe that meets you when you pause to look around.
Every adventure, training session, class and journey I create is meant to help women reconnect with that feeling of strength, curiosity, and belonging in their own bodies. I believe movement is medicine, and nature is the space where we remember how to use it.
My approach blends intention with play: challenging the body while calming the mind, bringing women together to move, breathe, and explore what’s possible at any age.
At the heart of it all is this belief:
You don’t have to live vicariously through adventure, you can live it. And when you do, you rediscover not only your strength, but the joy of being alive in every moment.
Where Strength & Stillness Meet

Where Strength & Stillness Meet *
This isn’t just a getaway, it’s a homecoming. Nestled between the jagged peaks of the Sawtooth Mountains and the still waters of Redfish Lake, Effort Meets Awe invites women in midlife to rediscover their strength, purpose, and joy through movement, connection, and reflection.
Over four unforgettable days, you’ll move with intention on the water, on the trail, and within yourself. Each experience is designed to reconnect you with your body’s wisdom, your inner compass, and the awe that comes from showing up fully surrounded by wild beauty.
Why This Place
Carving lines through the Sawtooth backcountry left a mark on me the calm, the wildness, the flow. Stanley, Idaho has that same magic: a place that invites you to slow down, move freely, and rediscover your strength.
I’ve fallen in love with this part of Idaho, the charm of Ketchum and Hailey, the long drives tracing the Salmon River, the dream of someday staying in a small cabin and casting a line as the sun sets. Stanley has always caught my eye, a small, soulful town built around nature itself. It’s wild, peaceful, and full of wonder ,the perfect backdrop for this experience.
This is where Effort Meets Awe was meant to unfold, in a place that moves you simply by being itself.

Cher Murphy
Special Guest
Cher Murphy is an anthropologist, executive coach, and a lifelong student of how women come home to themselves. She believes midlife isn’t a crisis, it’s a remembering. A time when our bodies, hearts, and inner knowing start telling the truth, even if our lives haven’t caught up yet.
She has spent the past five summers living in Idaho with her dog, Arlo, hiking ridge lines, paddle boarding quiet lakes, and letting the mountains re-teach her what wholeness feels like. Cher is a member of Marshall Goldsmith’s 100 Coaches, a Partner & Practice Leader at ON Partners, and Adjunct Professor at Pepperdine University.
Her approach blends neuroscience, nervous system regulation, and ancient traditions. Cher has been a yoga teacher for over 25 years and a meditation student for more than 35. She believes that transformation doesn’t have to be heavy, and that sometimes the deepest healing happens through shared laughter on the trail.
